Welcome to the Rifugio Buffaure in Pozza di Fassa, in the heart of the majestic Trentino Dolomites.
You can easily reach our hut (altitude 2,050 m) via a modern cablecar from Pozza di Fassa or, for walkers, by an easy trail which takes less than two and a half hours. From the beautiful terrace of the Rifugio Buffaure, you can admire the majesty of the Catinaccio, Latemar, Costabella and the Monzoni Group, while sipping an aperitif with friends, or enjoying one of our traditional homemade dishes.
In winter it is a great starting point for the renowned Sellaronda, the famous Giro dei Quattro Passi (Four Passes Tour), one of the most spectacular ski tours in the world. Even in summer, whether you’re an experienced hiker or not, it’s a destination you can’t miss; because, transported by its countless paths and routes, you’ll be enchanted by the harmony and tranquillity of our splendid Dolomites.
Even children will find a world entirely dedicated to them, with enchanted paths full of excitement, leading them to discover minerals, fossils, animals and plants and of course a small playground.
Our goal is to create simple and genuine dishes, starting with the selection of ingredients that enhance Ladin and Trentino traditions.
We start with classic platters of cheeses and cured meats, then move on to delicious dishes such as polenta, sausage and dumplings, and finish with a wide choice of appetising home-made desserts.
Our great fortune is to have made our passion, our work.
